Elon Musk's SpaceX and European Space Agency (ESA) have begun preliminary technical discussions to temporarily use the company’s launchers after the Ukraine conflict blocked Western access to Russia's Soyuz rockets. The final decision depends on the still unresolved timetable for Europe's delayed Ariane 6 rocket.
