A partial solar eclipse began on Thursday, as the moon began to cover the solar disc. This is the last solar eclipse expected to take place this year, and is being observed in various parts of Srinagar where 55 percent of the solar disc has been obscured. In Delhi, the eclipse began at 4:29pm and is expected to cover 43 percent of the solar disc today.
